Use this checklist if your Private Limited company, LLP, OPC or LLC needs help preparing a D-U-N-S request or resolving inconsistent business details. This is a preparation guide; it does not replace the issuing organization’s verification.
1. Identify the request you actually need
- Existing number: confirm that the record belongs to your legal business and location.
- New request: establish whether a matching record already exists before proceeding.
- Correction: identify the specific name or address detail that needs updating.

2. Compare your business information
- Legal name: retain the full registered name and entity suffix.
- Business address: check the building, street, city, state, postal code and country.
- Contact details: use a reachable business contact and official company email.
- Registration evidence: prepare complete, readable documents with consistent details.

3. Prepare a short case summary
Write down your company type, incorporation country, intended use, existing number or case reference, and any unresolved mismatch. Include your target deadline so the support scope can be assessed. Keep identity documents out of the initial WhatsApp enquiry.

Can I get a D-U-N-S Number in 24 hours?
A 24-hour issuance cannot be guaranteed. Timing depends on existing records, document completeness, business verification and D&B processing. Tell us your deadline so we can assess your case before you proceed.
What does the assistance fee cover?
Your written quotation explains the document review, information checks, application support and follow-up included. Our consulting fee is separate from any D&B or developer-platform charges. Ask for the complete scope before paying.
What if my company already has a number?
